About

Meet the creatives behind Robin Hood: The Golden Arrow.

Tyson Vick, WRITER/Director

Picture
Tyson Vick is an award winning photographer who has used his skill as a filmmaker, costume designer, digital artist, and storyteller to bring his visions to life. A graduate of the New York Film Academy, his passion for traditional analog cinematography led him to move into the realm of still photography over the course of his career.

As a filmmaker he created two documentaries for the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival. He is the author of Mozart Reimagined, a non-fiction work about the operas of the composer W.A. Mozart, and A Steampunk Guide to Hunting Monsters, an illustrated adventure novel. His work in male photography has produced his largest fanbase within the LGBT community.

He was born and raised in Montana, and currently resides in Bozeman.

Adapting a musical piece of history takes many unique team members that other films do not require, such as historians, musicologists, a music director and conductor, as well as an orchestra, chorus and soloists. It also involves the posthumous contribution of many well-respected artists from the past.
